About Dr. Kaylee

Dr. Kaylee English, DC

I primarily grew up in Marysville, WA. Graduated from Marysville Pilchuck High School in 2009 and then attended Western Washington University for my undergrad studies. I have a Bachelor’s in Human Biology.

Out of 18 chiropractic graduate schools in the U.S., there are only 4 evidence based chiropractic colleges.

University of Western States in Portland OR has been the leading frontier on evidence based chiropractic. I graduated from this fine institution in 2016.

I became a chiropractor because throughout my childhood I was exposed to various forms of substance abuse that multiple family members suffered.

The most influential was opioid abuse. It pushed me to look into alternative forms of healthcare that look at the root cause of pain rather than masking the symptoms.

I also grew up in poverty. So I never learned about chiropractic, acupuncture, or naturopathic medicine until I was a junior at Western Washington University and needed to declare a major and plan my future path.

Funny enough, I had never seen a chiropractor before going to school to be one! My very first adjustment was by a 9th quarter student in the student clinic. (Got the best sleep in my life after that first adjustment! The effects of treatment greatly influenced my commitment to the program)

My journey as a chiropractor has been…interesting, to say the least.

I love what I do, but certainly have a different treatment perspective than a lot of my colleagues.

Check out my “What to Expect” page for more details on my niche treatment style!

When I am not in the office, you can find me around town walking or biking the riverwalk, having lunch at the Co-op, hiking, reading a fantasy book, and hanging out with my family. I’ve been married to the most loving and supportive guy since 2014 and we have two kiddos.

Some of my personal interests are reading (#acotargirlie favorite genres are fantasy, dystopian, romance/romantasy, and sci-fi), hiking and international travel (dreaming of a 2 week trip to Scotland), and nature based spirituality.
